What is the name of the instrument used in most island rhythms?!
Question: I am looking for the name of that bowl-like drum instrument. Usually it has compartments with letters of numbers. When I see one, I think Jamaican music. What is the name of this thing?

It is made from a steel oil drum. Different sizes are used for the different pitch ranges.
