I just answered your Wanda Jackson question, then I saw this.
I've not only heard of Rosie, I've played the same bill with her several times. The guitar player in my band had a thing for her, so I've also seen her play at least fifty times. To be honest, Rosie's a sweetheart but I've never been a big fan. A few exceptions-Her cover of Merle's "My Own Kind Of Hat" on the Tulare Dust tribute record. Her hit version of James Intveld's "Crying Over You". Also I remember a great Elvis cover at the annual Elvis birthday party one year (Club Lingerie in Hollywood) with The Screaming Sirens, a band she was in for a short time. I can't remember what they did though!
I'll check back to learn something about her...heard the name that's about it.
I don't know much about her either Tex but I received something on myspace the other day about her and someone playing some clubs in California if my memory serves me correctly.
