Michael Bolton, some people hate him but i absolutely love him. Check out How Am I Supposed To Live Without You, Said I Loved You But I Lied and Soul Provider as a starters.
There's plenty of them out there to chose from but if you're into the whole hair metal power ballad thing there's one that is a little lesser known that I would recommend; "Dreaming" by Yngwie J. Malmsteen. It's got pretty decent lyrical content and the guitar work is second to none.
Whitesnake "here I go again" , Cinderalla "Nobodys Fool" & "Dont know what you got till its gone" ,Poison "Every rose has it thorns" ,Ozzy & Lita Ford "If I close my eyes" , Scorpins "wind of change" , Warrant "Heaven" , Europe "Carrie" .... some of my faves also good ones by the following ..... ,Night Ranger, Firehouse,Heart, Guns and Roses.
Motley Crue's "Home Sweet Home" is the first ballad, and in my opinion the best. i do love Skid Row's "I Remember You" and Def Leppard's "Bringin' on the Hearthbreak." BUt other than that the rest are completely over precessed and lost their novelty.
