Question: i'm not sure how the lyrics go. i believe the singer (possibly Hoyt Axton?) portrays himself as a D.J. at the radio station and one nite decides instead of playing live, to use a recorded session n goes home to surprise his wife. when he gets home, HE is the one who gets surprised. part of the chorus: "i come into your life like i do every nite from the heart of your radio. i play a little fast, i play a little slow, and a few old cheatin songs." ok ppl, that's all i can remember. anyone know the song? thanks all
