To be honest it really doesn't matter. Rapper make money and live very lavish, while we common foolk argue over their name. I do it just to get other people hyped up cause some people really get into that tyoe of stuff. Music is powerful I tell ya!
Because we're bored and have nothing better to do...but if you want an answer, Joe Budden is one of the best rappers out today...you should look into him...especially his Mood Muzik mixtapes...one of the only rappers who has substance behind his music...
Well,I guess it's human nature to decide who is the absolute best.I mean,They give out trophies to the "best sportsman/sportswoman" every year,but they don't do it for rappers.They'll say "Oh,this guy is probably the best artist of the year,he got this song called "___" and it rocks!" for pop,r'n'b,country,etc.But for hip-hop it's "Hey,this guy has a great song".They don't say the man is probably the best in the game,instead they say he has a great song.It dosen't mean the same.So it's up to us to decide amongst ourselves.A rapper can have one no.1 hit but on his album half his **** is wack.For example Soulja Boy,his whole album is total bullshit but he has a no.1 hit.It definitely dosen't mean that Soulja Boy is the best rapper right now.On the other hand Jay-Z dosen't have a no.1 hit this year or in the past few years,but he's still considered one of the best,because all of his tracks(except maybe a few) are quality work.
Everybody is entitled to their opinion, and most regulars and Heads that use this site usually keep their opinions on questions that are asked 5 times a day to themselves, and are usually not the first to begin arguing with someone else about superflous information. However, when a stan comes on here, blatantly states who they feel is the greatest ever, backs it up with meaningless reasons (because he's my favorite doesn't count), and refuses to hear otherwise, it offends the those that are passionate about the culture.
Also, it's very fun to call out someone that doesn't know anything...
