good question. sometimes i will lean either way. in a good storytelling song, you can close your eyes and travel to a different place in your mind and imagine whats goin down. some of these songs i like are 50 shots by papoose and boulevard knights by redcloud.

but on the other hand, in a diss song you can just feel the raw emotion vibrating from the track. some of these i like are ether by nas and pimp slapd by snoop dogg.

but overall i have to chose storytelling because it educates and most of the stuff in diss tracks isnt even true.
Storytelling record no question
Storytelling
Storytelling song, no question
Edit: However, I'll choose Nas' "Ether" track if that was a choice
Best diss in hip-hop history
Storytelling. Rap should be used constructively.
both are very good...but im leaning towards a diss record because canibus is my favorite and he can "tear up mics and put an out of order sign on it"
Both R good but when I was a kid I heard Slick Rick-Childrens story and that made me lean towards storytelling.
Storytelling. diss records are getting annoying.
