What are some good albums to start off with from Danzig?!
Question: To start, if you're only buying 1 album, I'd buy Thrall-Demonsweatlive.
That way you get a handful of songs from previous albums in the live setting, which is a surprisingly good recording for the time, and you can get an idea of what you're getting into.
As another guy mentioned, the first 4 albums have a consistent lineup. My personal favorites are Danzig I and Danzig III: How the Gods Kill. Lucifuge and 4p are also amazing, but I'd steer clear of 5: Blackaciddevil and 666: Satan's Child until you really get into him. Everything after 666 ended up being damn good, especially with Tommy Victor of Prong on guitar.
As was also said, The Lost Tracks is quite awesome, too, but a little pricier... it's also limited.
