yes i get a warm and fuzzy feeling
especially if i memorized the songs a long time ago and i still have them memorized
yet i don't remember what i ate for lunch yesterday
sad isn't it =]

Yes! =)
I have a lot of songs on my ipod, and I can go months without hearing from a band.

All the time. Most recent one for me was The Sword.

I do from time to time. Recently, I picked up my copy of Disintegration after having not listened to it in a couple of years, with the exception of one or two songs that made it onto my computer, and I remembered how much I enjoyed it. The same thing happened with Tragic Kingdom a few years ago. I don't think I had listened to it since the beginning of high school, then I brought it with me to college and listened to it a lot, and loved it all over again. I enjoy when that happens.

It's usually that I listen and wondered why I liked them.

Yep....happens all the time! I have a large music collection so I don't hear some stuff for awhile and then when I do, I fall in love all over again.

Asked this question a few days ago, haha. You phrased it better than I did I think though. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... A few nights ago I was going through all my CD's and I had really forgotten how much I LOVE Tom Waits, and Amy Correia, and Elvis Costello.

All the time.. recently it was Kidney thieves, Coal Chamber and Orgy. I have too many Cds!!!

Smahing Pumpkins was my most recent one

yes. happened to me with Iron Maiden and System of a down.

No, it's usually quite the opposite.

Indeed. The funny thing is, the record I picked up was The Chronic-Dr. Dre. Random, totally opposite of what my mood has been lately. But I found it and I'm not gonna lie, even after my obsession of good rock music, Dre knows, Dre knows.
Very talented. One of the few hip hop albums I own.

Actually, when I was in high school my friend couldn't believe I'd never heard the Violent Femmes. So she played their CD for me. I liked the first song but when it got to the second song I realized I KNEW ALL THE WORDS. It was very weird. By the third song I realized I knew the whole album--my mom used to play the tape while we were driving in her car when I was a little kid. At that time, of course, I didn't know that they were the perfect teen angst band (okay, Nirvana is tough competition for that title) and started loving them all over again. How's that for rediscovering old music?

yes....dave matthews was the most recent one

Yep. This weekend I was listening to my Jeff Buckley station on Jango and "A Letter To Elise" by the Cure came on. :)
