I think there overrated. Dont get me wrong they dont suck. I just think to many of there songs sound the same.
My best friend loves Nirvana... she used to have cake on his birthday and plays the cd's on the anniversarry of his death all day...

Kurt's an idol, his music is amazing and I just love Nirvana!

I love Nirvana. I think they were an amazing band. What sold me was Kurt's ability to put so much emotion into his vocals. To me that made them extrordinary.
Edit: I agree with Roxel. AIC was equally good. I love them, too.
