My dad hates rap...?!
Question: But it's the main music I listen to. So, just to be nice I don't listen to it when he's around or I just use headphones. But now he's just being mean about it. I ripped a CD to my computer that I just bought so I could listen to it while playing games or what-not. But he goes and deletes from the Pc and it's getting really annoying. Is there anything I could do to convince him to stop messing with my music?

Just remind him that his parents most likely hated music he liked to listen to when he was your age.
my dad doesnt HATE rap but he doesnt appreciate it.........

or keep your cds pirvate and hide them somewhere safe where he cant find them

My mom hates my music too, but I try to be nice and use headphones and only listen when shes not around
If you have other more parent appropriate music that you like, play it around them, like if you like rnb or soft alternative. That wont convince him, but itll let him know that all your music isnt completely rap so hell probably lay off a bit

If you are listening to Soulja Boy or something, it's better that he is deleting it. Anyway, you can always go to a friends house and listen to music there, or just listen to your dad, I guess, or try to get him to like the rap you like.

Of course he'll say something like - "Until you're livin' in My house you won't listen to these scam " Tell him that you'll gonna hear it no matter where you're! My dad doesn't like it either and he says it's the "devil" music but I show him that I'm not going to turn out like them at all I just like to listen to it.
Well, my mother doesnt like when i listen to hip hop or go go, thats why i put it on my ipod and get loud headphones.
But as far as what you should do, I mean if you love hip hop you should try to explain to your father it shouldnt matter what he thinks about it because your the one who has a love for it.
I f you can, try and get a friend to make the cd's for you. That way he cant delete anything
Besides, you listening to hip hop should be the least of his worries, theres alot of things you could be doing thats worse

What i did was i created separate accounts for each person on the computer.
That keeps all of the files sepatate.
On my itunes program all I have is rap
On my dad's all that's on it is AC/DC and stuff like that
That way he will never have access to any of your music so he won't be able to delete it.
