I think The Descendents can pull off some really nice songs!.

I would say probably Jack's Mannequin, the song "Dark Blue" is amazing, it's kind of pop/rock genre, and the lyrics are quite simplistic but heartfelt, like "Dark Blue, Dark Blue, Have You Ever Been Alone In A Crowded Room!? Well I'm Here with you" and " We Were Boxing the stars" that describe the on-top-of-the-world feeling of being in love!.
also Motion City Soundtrack, have amazing lyrics, that are both creative and personal, like in "it had to be you", it describes the realisation that a person is perfect for you, without being completely rose-tinted; "it seemed like a dream, a beautiful scream, that echoed forever and made us not afraid to feel a thing"!.
but love songs are incredibly personal and you cannot always completely relate with the lyrics, as they are written for a specific person, but i think these bands have amazing lyrics that really are really touching!. :]Www@Enter-QA@Com
