Question: Why do People think LiL Wayne is!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?
Alright!.!.!.I understand people got different taste in music & can like what they want to!.!.!.!.!.
But I just finished reading a "Jay-Z or LiL Wayne!?" question!.!.!.and there's a bunch of people picking LiL Wayne (not most of them tho)!.
I don't understand how people can pick a "HOT rapper" over a Legend!. That's like saying:
"Rihanna is better than Mary J Blige because she's HOT right now!.!.Yuuuuup!"
or
"T-Pain is a better singer than Luther Vandross because he's HOT right now!"
LiL Wayne is hot!.!.his lyrics are crazy!.!.!.I understand but to just pick him over other rap artists who changed the rap industry or changed how rap music is made is worst answer anyone could give!.
Never put LiL wayne on or above the level of Rakim, KRS-1, Jay-Z, Nas, Biggie, 2Pac, Ice Cube, Method Man or other rappers that are Legends!.
My question(s) is!.!.!.Do people just see "Hotness" and never see "Legends" in Rap music!? Are they Really afraid to say a Legend is better than their current fav artist(s)!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Very good points you have there!. The ONLY thing I have against Jay-Z is he bit from Biggie!. Other than that, yes he changed the industry and YES he is a legend!. People need to appreciate legends more than who is hot right now!. It's fine to like Lil' Wayne, but DON'T put him ahead of Jay-Z!.

Just to argue the other side- you can't always pick a legend, or else how would music grow!?!? You can't be stagnant!. Would you just read Shakespeare forever!? No, you gotta grow and read other stuff!. And who decides the greatness of these rappers!?!? You can't live entirely in the past!. I can understand why some would say hotness and some a legend!. Im going to be honest Im a big LiL Wayne fan!. In my book he is the greatest rapper alive !. I dont relly care for Jay-Z, but I have mad respect for him for what his done in the past!. And to answer your question, I dont believe people just see hotness!. I think they see future legends!. LiL Wayne will become a legend because of his fans!.
