It was this sound effect on my frined I-POD labeled these things there were more!.!.!.but it gives you a trippy effect when you listen to it for a long time and it makes everything sound wierd!.!.!.is some sort of sound illusion, does any one know what it's called!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

They're called binaural beats!. The idea is that you give slightly different frequencies to each ear, it will change the frequency of the brain (as in EEG)!. And it does work!. A lot of very stupid and gullible people believe you can get the effects of specific drugs using this, but it's nonsense!. You can affect your brain, but if you want to see your dead grandmother or believe you're a flower being bathed in the light of a sun that loves you, you're going to need chemicals!. It's my understanding that it's no match for intermediate meditation!.
