How do You Classify a Voice?!

Question: How do You Classify a Voice!?
How do you know whether somebody is an alto, soprano etc!. Thanks in advance!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
It definitely is based on the range of notes you can comfortably sing!.

High range is Soprano (C4-A5)
Medium range is Mezzo Soprano (A3-F5)
Low range is Alto (or technically contralto) (F3-D5)

Contralto and alto are the same!.

Their vocal range!.
If your a female:
If you can hit high C nicely than you are a soprano!. If you have a medium register than you an alto!. And if you have a low register ( for a lady) than you can be considered a Contra alto ( this is a rather rare female voice) its not lower than alto but it has a deeper colour!.

If you are a male:
There are Contra tenors ( rare male voice) that honest to god sound like women!.
Then there are tenors they have an upper male register that can go to high C ( the male high C)
Baritones have a good range that can go to around B after middle C!. Its a very thick voice and is very versatile!.
Then there are basses ( well technically there is bassI and bassII) which are VERY low!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

if you sing high notes well your a suprano if you sing lower notes well then you're an alto!.!.!.!.you might want to try this exercise!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.just sing the note le then lay then la lo lou!.!.!.if it sounds high you're a suprano if not u're alto!.!.!.!.u're most likely suprano though there are very few true altoes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
