I really like Godsmack and for me they seem very underrated!.They're pretty much like Mudvayne or Static -X with the same style!.When these bands are mentioned, Korn or Disturbed will always be at the top!.
Godsmack are the closest thing right now to the excellent and sadly missed Alice in Chains!.I like their Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and even the Rush influences!.Their albums Faceless and IV are both pretty good as well as "I stand alone" on the Scorpion King soundtrack!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree they don't get metioned much on here, I don't think they're overrated at all, Voodoo and I Stand Alone are two of my favorite songs from them!. You should check out Another Animal 3 members of Godsmack are in the band along with Whit Crane on vocals!.
Vaportrails I agree Shannon Larkin is awesome check out Wraithchild America he was in that band before he joined Ugly Kid Joe they were pretty good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well I really liked them when the first album came out, the guitar work was simple but it rocked and the songs were well written!. The next couple albums were just okay, the songs were all starting to sound similar!. My drummer really likes them and he let me borrow this Godsmack DVD and I have to say it was awesome! They have a great light show and sweet drumming!.
They aren't really one of my favorite bands, I guess I'm pretty indifferent about them!. They are probably more on the overrated side!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Saw them in concert, it was far better than Metallica!.
Have all their albums, DVDs, and Sully's book!.
Sully can play the harmonica, drums, bongos, guitar, sing and write lyrics!. The rest of the band is also extremely talented!.
So they are grossly underrated!.
I love them!.

Well, I'm definately NOT "everyone" but I figure my opinion may matter to some one, I like them!. I got introduced to the band by my oldest son about 4 years ago!. I loved them!. Great music if your going through a divorce!.!.!.lol!. And now I just listen to it when I'm feeling blue!.!.!.makes me feel better in a weird twisted sort of way!Www@Enter-QA@Com
