Single Cylinder Engine Sound Pitch Question?!

Question: Single Cylinder Engine Sound Pitch Question!?
Does anyone really know what pitch in the C diatonic musical scale is correct in relation to the governed speed of a single-cylinder four-cycle gasoline engine (which powers stuff like lawn mowers and tillers)!?

In other words, using the seven white notes and five black notes (referring to the piano keys) of the C diatonic musical scale, which pitch is associated with which engine RPM!?

Some popular governed speeds for lawnmower engines are: 3000, 3200, 3300, 3500 and 4000!. Two cycle engines would sound faster at these same RPMs than four cycle engines!.

Thank you,

That is a fascinating question!. I don't quite know the answer, but if you have any recordings of these engines, or know where I can find them, I'd be happy to figure that out and let you know!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
