Question: Help introducing my friend to good music!?
I'm staging an "intervention" of sorts with my friend!.!.!. he loves rap and the only "rock" music he listens to is James Blunt, so I'm working with another friend to expose him to some good rock music!. So far we've got him some Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper and Blue Oyster Cult, and I've got some more ideas to try, but I want to know what would be some other good bands/songs for him to start off on!. dont try to change who a person is!. if you want him to like different music, then just reccomend it to him but dont force it on him!. just make sure you tell him that James Blunt is not Rock, not even soft rock!. also, let him get into new stuff, not just what you like!. i would reccomend Nickelback, Linkin Park and a few songs by Breaking Benjamin, like "Blow Me Away"

The Pretty Things is a really good British band from the 60's!. They recorded what is often known as one of the first concept albums in rock music!. It's called S!.F!. Sorrow, and it's really amazing!. It's an album that you absolutely have to listen to in whole!.

start off with modern rock like stuff you will hear on almost ever radio station!.!.!.
then listen to great rock stations like 101!.5, 93!.3, 88!.7, 106!.1, and 101!.1
then with heavy metal and things their not allowed to play on the radio like Children of Bodom, Craddle of Filth and death metal type of stuff!.!.!.thats wut happend to me and i'm the biggest metalhead in tha world!!
now i know over 1000 different bands and i'm lovin every single band i hear!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
