Question: Help writing a song, how do you lay it out!.!?
Im trying to write a song
and i know what i want to write it about!.
but i dont know where to put the chorus and stuff like that!.

When I write, I always try to make it progressive (making the lyrics WANT to lead to the chorus)!. I typically have a ABAB rhyming pattern( Ex: Bid me to weep, and I will weep, "A"
While I have eyes to see; "B"
And having none, and yet I will keep "A"
A heart to weep for thee!. "B" ) and you can start with Verse 1!. V1 then a chorus or even a sub chorus (a little phrase that will hint the listener that the chorus is next)!. then I follow with V2, repeat chorus then V3 and chorus 2 or 3x before fade out!. That's only one way of doing it!. You can go V1, V2, Chorus, V3, C, V4 C!. You can even go!.!.!.!. C, V1, V2, C, V3, V4, C, 1/2C (half the chorus is used to finish the song especially when you are telling a story with a flashback!. Listen to "How Do You Get That Lonely" by Blaine Larson!.)
