How do you get discovered when you live in a small town?!
Question: How do you get discovered when you live in a small town!?
i live in the small town of lake geneva!. the problem is that im and aspiring, singer/songwriter but i dont know how to get discovered!. any advice would be apreciated!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

You really gotta just start small and work your way up!. I mean, look at Britney, she was in the middle of nowhere, Louisiana!
Start singing with your friends!. From there try talent shows at school, then local events like the star spangled banner at baseball games and hockey games!. You can even audition for something like America's Got Talent!. Or look out for managers and agents in the capital of your state!. Watch out though doll, there's way too many shady people who want to take advantage of you!. People often forget that the music industry is a BUISNESS!. You need to be smart and know what's right and wrong!. It's easier said than done!. Just remember, agents get 10%, managers get 15%!. Anyone asking for anything upfront = Scam!. scam scam scam!. Managers and agents will find you work, etc!. Hopefully in a few years you'll get signed to a label who will take the rest from there!. ok first sign up with drama club or acting classes at school and choir/chorus and try to get solos and stuff to stand out and get headshots done and get an agent and work hard to get noticed
