Question: What is up with the 100 greatest guitarists of all time list!?
I just looked at it and KURT COBAIN is twelve on the list!. I'm a big fan of Nirvana, but he's average at playing it in my opinion!. And he's in front of Tom Morello and Slash isn't even on the list!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

This list was so bad that their message board was shut down from angry e-mails!. Rolling Stone has no credibility to rank guitar players - especially when a bunch of fat old editors don't play the instrument!. They lost all respect and credibility after this!. I never have seen more people rip a magazine feature than this debacle!.
Eddie Van Halen - who should be #1 was # 70!. This prompted angry reactions from thousands including Zakk Wylde, Dimebag, Jason Becker, and thousands of others!. This was the biggest joke!
Randy Rhoads - who should be in the top 10 was # 85!.
Satriani and Vai - two of the greats, maybe top ten, did not even make the top 100!?!?!?!? but Joan Jett and Kurt Cobain did!. Oh yeah !. !. !.I get it !. !. !.!.
If you ask real guitar players and people who know guitar history who the ten best players REALLY are, I am sure the top ten would at least look like this:

Kurt Cobain is probally that high because he died so young!. Much like other celebs that die young (Heath Ledger, James Dean etc) where people will start to make them legendary even if they don't deserve it!. The fact that they never got to go on and get better or worse in their careers means that people start to imagine they would have been the best in their area!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It is a joke because David Gilmour, EVH and Slash are too low and Cobain sucks at guitar and should not even be on it!. As well Clapton should be #1 or 2!.
