Led Zeppelin: Has Everyone Forgotten?!

Question: Led Zeppelin: Has Everyone Forgotten!?
Did everyone forget that Led Zeppelin allowed the song "Rock and Roll" to be used for a GM Cadillac TV ad campaign in 2004!? And it wasn't a version by some studio band (like how Beatles songs are used in commercials) it was the actual Led Zeppelin version!. So, sadly, they have in fact sold out!. Just to GM and not to whoever produces the "Guitar Hero" games!.

Well they probably regretted it!.

Good thing it didn't last that long and there are no follow-through's or else!.!.!.

fast-food chains, detergents, tv shows, and computer games would all use their songs!.

Now what would that be like!?

LOL!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

They didn't sell out by letting GM use their song in their commercial, I don't think!. Led Zeppelin is very, VERY choosy with who they allow to use their songs; it's rare that a Led Zeppelin song is prominently featured in a movie or television advertisement!. If Zeppelin did not approve of how their song was being used, they would not have agreed to it!. You may still think they sold out, but I doubt they were in it entirely for the money!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Using The Beatles was Michael Jackson & Sony's doing!.

As for Zepp, I can say that a single song for a car ad, though irritating, is nothing compared to the cash they could've gotten w/ Guitar Hero!. I still praise em for refusing that at least!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Allowing a song to be used in a commercial is not selling out!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
