Rick Rubin is a legendary hip hop producer but I don't really think of him when discussing great hip hop producers!. The reason is that he has basically become a recluse in the hip hop world!. Other than "99 Problems" Rubin hasn't been involved in hip hop for nearly 20 years!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

he's an OG but i think you do he was responsible for some big records from def Jam!. its only recently that producers are now being recognized for there work (there was a time when pharrell was just that unknown dude in mad videos like jay z's give it to me and no one knew about him)!.
If it was how it is now, more ppl would be talkin bout him (when he did 99 problems ppl began recognizing him again a lil)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yeah no doubt he is a great Producer from Back in the Day!. I was quite spun out recently when I realised he was one of the two guys in Jay Z's 99 Problems vid!. I thought they were some metal/rock group he'd teamed up with LOL!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
