I think I liked it!.
My main criticism is that his voice is so loud and yours is so much quieter by comparison!. It would be cool if you could get an instrumental version or play out the chords yourself and sing over them!.!.!.!. that way I could hear you better and be able to give you a more informed opinion!.
I didn't watch the whole thing, I watched about half, but it seemed like you stayed on key overall!. Your phrasing seemed a little different than the singers, either that or you can't hold out notes like he can (I can't even hit those notes, much less hold them out)!.
So I guess my main thing would be to project some more, put some force behind it!. That way you aren't "commenting" on the song, but "singing" it!. I hope that makes sense!.
As far as what that other guy was saying, blow it off!. People are so insecure about how they look and what they feel that they'll try to say very hurtful things to make themselves feel better!. If you listen to them, all you do is drag yourself down, and make them happy!.
You do seem to present yourself as a little effeminate, but I don't necessarily see it as a bad thing, or as something that I would be concerned about!.
Then again, I'm pretty secure in who I am!. As long as you are too, then you have nothing to worry about!.
