Answers:
Absolutely look The unseen, madvillainy (madlib), Gang Starr, Jeru the damaja's first 2, Group Home Livin' proof(premier), Pete & CL, Soul Survivor, Petestrumentals(pr) De la soul's first 3 (prince paul), Little brother's first 2, 9th and Kaze (9th), Look at the ones Marley Marl did in the 80's, Common Resurection (no i!.d), Slum Village's first 2 (dilla), Reflection Eternal (hi-tek), Enta Da Stage, Da Shinin' (Da beatminerz),Look at RZA with enter the wu and the first 5 wu solo albums so def yes, a dope producer can hold down an album, where is, with a bunch of different ones you're taking more of a gambleWww@Enter-QA@Com
Excellent question!. Of course if your whole album is produced by one person it's easier to have a common theme throughtout the album!. Alot of artist (at least locat artist) do this to keep a common mood!. National artist who've done this include Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff!. There first two album had a light hearted/Childish theme!. As Fresh Prince got more popular he still used DJ Jazzy Jeff but other producers too!.
More recently Knawl Barkley has been doing the same thing, And there album usually have a theme (wierd true but a theme non the less)!. You can also catch NAS doint this with some of his mix tapes, he especiallylike using the alcamist!.
but anyway
If yor just making an catalog of songs most artist select the beat that compliments that song reguardless of who produces the track!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i think different producers so there's a variety of songs!.!.!.like u can tell a song by the producer 90% of the time cuz they usually have an identifying mark!. like i don't wanna hear a whole album produced by manny fresh back n the day i could do it right now don't think i could he's gettin too monotonousWww@Enter-QA@Com
Well I try to bring to the table as much diversity the artist may need plus they have the last say so or some two cents to their project if you feel me~1~!!!
P!.S Good music takes diversity in many aspects from their thoughts to how they feeling at that moment as we record!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Diversity in producers makes the every song on the album sound more original and independent!.
One producer I think in general makes the songs sound more in sync with each other!.
I would rather only one!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Depending!.!.!. If you think about these artist/producers:
Eric B & Rakim
Talib Kweli & Hi-Tek
Gangstarr (Guru & Premier)
Pete Rock & CL Smooth
So i'd say, GENERALLY single produced albums are GREAT!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

no i like diversity!. its actually not fair to the artist really because he/she isn't able to display their diversity on different types of beats!. Albums produced by one person sometimes are redundant!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Idk
I suppose it depends on the artist
Certain producers sound good with certain artists
I like when there are multiple producers so Im not just expecting a certain sound but overall it all comes down to the artist

I don't know if it's necessarily better or worse, but I personally prefer if an album is produced by 1-3 producers!. It gives cohesiveness to the album!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Not necessarily!.
In cases if a concept album, possibly!.
But generally no!.!. The majority of Hip Hop classics include contributions from multiple producers!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
