I think hip hop has become too "pop" and it's been on a decline since the late 90's when Puff daddy started releasing his corporate crap!. The independent underground stuff is pretty good but I don't think anyone takes hip hop seriously!. It's become too much of a victim of its own image!. You can only talk about how many "hoes" you have or how many "ferraris" you can buy before people get bored!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
ok with rappers like Soulja Boy, and others like him rap will probably die out in a few years, but i dont think its dead!. you still have good rappers like

they are examples of real rappers!. They actually put meaning into their raps and dont shout and holler like soulja boy!. Soulja boy and rappers like him are jus people who yell and scream about gettin F's on their report card and whatnot!. now dont get me wrong, im no hypocrite!. yes , i listen to soulja boy and those other rappers, but just because i listen to it doesnt mean its rap!. the other day i heard a song and it was a man saying somthing about steppin on somebody J's (jordans {sneakers]) i thought to myself, " has rap really gone so low that we have to make songs about stepping on someone's shoes!?"I still listen to rap and still care about it, but in my opinion rap isnt dead but its as u said in ICU, or even in the ER ready for that one person to bring it back to life and make a full recovery!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I love hip hop, just not the crap they play on the radio!. The underground artists are so talented and should be the ones on the radio and getting all the fame!. People like common market, blu & exile, charles hamilton, blue scholars, bullet, atmosphere, talib kweli, mos def, common, nas, etc!. That is the stuff I wish everyone heard!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The younger the kids are nowadays they won't even know what hip hop is, it will just be rap and r&b!. i do!. rap is everything to me and even though rap is too pop now theres still hope for a turn around and we still have old songs we can listen to and we have jay-z eminem dr!. dre and nas so even though lil wayne and soulja boy are horrible we still have some legends
