in your mind what is the importance of the ramones in the history of rock n roll!? i say the ramones were a breath of fresh air because the music at the time were loaded up with ****** 20 minutes guitar solos, huge pyrotechnics and other meaningless things!. in my mind its retarded!. i say just rock dont show off!. the ramones were inovative in my mind because they had standard verse, chorus, verse, chorus two minute songs, no guitar solos, just up in your face rock!. the inventors of punk rock in my mind!. what is your opinion on the ramones!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

most people think that the ramones stick to verse chorus and all songs are two minutes with no solo's!. but they ventured furthur than that in quite a few songs!.!.!.you'd be surprised, and it still sounds sooooo punk rock!!!
go on youtube and search the song "chinese rock"!!! it has some lead guitar on it!. and rock and roll high school has some surf rock solo's!.
they went on to influence many bands like rancid, green day, motorhead etc!.!.!.

i think the ramones were what got me into punk music!. the ramones had a style that, even if they repeated the sounds of their songs, each song still had it's own personality!. it was a shame that they didn't get along with each other very well, and that now there's no possible way to see each original ramone live!. Personally, I like the 20 minute guitar solos!.!.!. but I'm not a punk person!. The Ramones are really the only punk band I like, so I agree that they were very innovative and great musicians!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
