Help with GUITAR?! I'm really confuzzled...!

Question: Help with GUITAR!?! I'm really confuzzled!.!.!.
Ok, so I'm going to be very very new to this when I get my guitar in two days!.!.!. so uh, I've been surfing youtube and everything, and does it go like whenever you want to play a new song, you have to retune the guitar to fit the song's notes!? I know there's those columns on the neck, and that you can place ur fingers up and down them to make higher or lower pitches, but like!.!.!.how do u know if ur guitar is tuned all the way! the whole tuning thing is pretty sketch to me!.!.!. i'm lost!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
You don't have to tune your guitar for every single little thing!. You can tune it differently to make playing something a little easier, but if its tuned in natural (E A D G B E) you can virtually play anything!

The biggest thing you can do is get a teacher, they can show you what kind of tuning you can use and when to use it!. Different songs will require different tuning!. Plus they can teach you waaay more than I can in this tiny little box!! :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

before learning to play songs, learn to play individual notes!. Before learning to play notes, learn where to find them on the instrument!.
You're aiming WAY too high for your level of expertise (or lack thereof)!.

http://www!.learnandmasterguitar!.com probably the best guitar instruction course out there
http://www!.justinguitar!.com decent free resource, but no substitute for the above

And if you can, get personal instruction from agood teacher!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

nope you tune the strings to the notes EADGBE with at tuner, left being the lowest right the highest!. the stings will need to be tuned every once in a while to make sure they're the right pitch thoughWww@Enter-QA@Com

Dude just match the strings notes to a tuner or piano!. Like the strings go from low to high EADGE and so match them with the EADGE on a keyboard or tuner and then don't change it!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

sorry, I can't help you with your guitar issues, but I just wanted to say that I LOVE the word, confuzzled! That's awesome! I'm going to start using that word! Thanks!Www@Enter-QA@Com
