Well Tex, I went out and bought this CD after I read on Yahoo Answers both yours and Kathleen's recommendation!. You said on one post that it gave old country music fans like us hope for future country music!. I have to say I agree with you!. I have not heard such traditional sounding country in a Loooooooong time!. But you know he really did this on his own, not through Nashville!. I just got the cd yesterday, however so far I really like the song "In Color" and "That Lonesome Song"!.
Really talented songwriter here, and his songs were all about what he was going through in his personal life at the time!. Writers who draw from personal experience I find, write these types of great songs!. Songs that the public can identify with!. He has written songs covered by some of today's biggest stars, George Strait, Trace Adkins, Hank Jr!. The only fault I have found is he wrote "Honkytonk Badonkadonk", but look how popular it was! (lol)!. I like him and his "if you like me, buy the music, if not , don't) attitude!. Its time that someone thumbed their noses at Nashville, I think Hank Jr was the last one to do it! !.!.!.!.I'm just glad that I had enough sense to go out and buy it!Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Album Itself was Great!. with the Exception of his Cover of "Dreaming my Dreams"!!
(Which I thought was sorta Blasphamis to this "Ol Waymore" Fan) lol

In Color hits home the most!. I've read the posts from the other folks that have bought the album and they are dead on! He'll be around quite a while if we just buy the music!. His song writing skills are a fresh of breath of fresh air!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
