Question: Did Nirvana perform live as a three-piece, or did they use additional (perhaps unseen) musicians!?
Did they have any additional musicians for their live shows!? A few years ago a Seattle-area music store was selling a Fender Mustang which they said belonged to Kurt Cobain!. When I asked the store manager why it was set up for right-hand playing when Kurt played as a lefty, he said their roadie played it offstage to fill out the sound!. Does anyone have any insights to this!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
Answers:
Pat Smear was there for the last leg of their career, more or less like you said to fill out the sound!. He introduces Pat on the Unplugged DVD as their bona fide punk rocker or something like that as he was the guitarist for imfamous punk band the Germs in the late 70's!.
It could be that, it could be that Kurt played weird, or it could be that the guy was trying to scam you!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
