Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band?!

Question: Sgt!. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band!?
I've talked to a ton of people who say this album is the best beatles album and has had a huge influence!. But I would say it was "Revolver"!. That album sounded like nothing i've ever heard from an album from '66!. Like tomorrow never knows and everything!. i would even say Abbey Road, Rubber Soul, or even The Beatles (White Album) was better and perhaps more influential!. Maybe it's just me, I don't know!.

MQ: Your favorite album by The Beatles and why!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
My favorites is The White Album, and A Hard Day's Night, but even though Sgt!. Pepper isn't your favorite doesn't mean it isn't a good album, I mean I love the blatant sarcasm of When I'm 64 and Sgt!. Pepper gets stuck in my head so bad!. I like a Hard Day's Night for the title track and I have to say I like their early poppy stuff, and the White Album has a bunch of awesome weird songs (Everybody's Got Something To Hide 'Cept For Me And My Monkey, Rocky raccoon, Glass Onion) and really beautiful songs ( Julia, Good Night, and the best of all Blackbird)!. I know I talk in circles but I agree with you about Sgt!. Pepper, it isn't their best!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Sgt Pepper's was a concept album and while it may have been ground breaking back in 1967, it left a lot of people scratching their heads and wondering what they heck the fab four was up to!. I agree with you that Revolution was definitely a much more superior album in influencing other musicians!.

My favorite Beatles Album is Abbey Road!. I listen to the music on that album and am in awe!. They were definitely heading in a heavier direction and I often wonder what their next album would have sounded like had the band not gone their separate ways!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

As much as I love that album, I agree with you!. :) Revolver and Rubber Soul are better!. Actually all their albums are awesome from Please Please Me to Abbey Road and Let It Be!. :)

MQ: Help!, whenever I listen a song from that album, I think of the scene it was in, in the movie "Help!"!. And I can listen to the whole album without skipping songs!. I love all the albums though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

My favorite Beatles album has to be Abbey Road, they really brought in all their elements and refined them in that album!. The diversity is there from up tempo rockers like Come Together, to ballads like Something, just a brilliant album!. Though Sgt!. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band, and Revolver opened music to unlimited experimentation, Abbey Road was the culmination of all these efforts!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's no doubt a great album!. This album, like so many, is a classic case of context; *In 1967* this was Such a radical album!.

Anyway, my personal faves are the White Album & Revolver!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm a huge Beatles fan and like Sgt!. Pepper but I really do think it's overrated, I much prefer The White Album!.

MQ: My two favorites are The White Album & Magical Mystery Tour!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Actually, Sgt!. Pepper was one of my least favorite Beatles albums!!

MQ: It's a toss up between Revolver, Rubber Soul, and Abbey Road for me!. With Revolver, and Rubber Soul, they were moving away from the teen idol, moptop phase into serious musicians, not to say that I don't love their early stuff!.

And Abbey Road was great, since each of them had at least one great song on that album, and the whole second side (if you have cassette) is almost like one very long song!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
