( I may be wrong, but they just seem to have a sound "all their own" - I could wrong!.!.!. )
2!. GENTLE GIANT --
( though unquestionably a Prog Band - one Site "GEPR" has the band's "Sub-Genre" listed as "Gentle Giant Music" LOL - and I totally agree !! )
3!. MAGMA (from France) --
( originally invented ZEUHL, where they created their Own Language - but they may not Count - Now that more bands have been influenced and have become Zeuhl bands, themselves, like "Happy Family" from Japan )
4!. KLAUS NOMI --
( listed as "Dark Cabaret" under "New Wave" - but I think he is a true original who has never been Truly duplicated )

5!. TUBEWAY ARMY ( First 2 Albums ) --
( before Gary Numan went Solo - There was NO BAND that came close to this Sound - In Fact, one Journalist in Trouser Press, at the time - referred to them as "Cold Wave" because of their "cold sound and sterile, cybernetic lyrics!." )
These Bands -- MAYBE --
Only because I think they started as True Originals --
