For A7X you're going to want something with humbuckers!. Assuming you have limited funds, I would high recommend the AXL Badwater because of A) It's playability B) It's Tone and C) It's Style
The best guitars for playing metal are strats or similar (ex!. BC Rich Warlock)!. Pretty much anything other than Squire (unless you're paying a lot of money) will do you well!.
Another good one would be almost anything Ibanez because of the thin necks and killer sound!. In the end though, it all comes down to the guitar YOU like, the guitar YOU find most comfortable to play and the guitar YOU will want to spend money on!.

Fender stratocasters are highly versatile, smooth to play with a great sound, i'd go for that but my best advice is try different guitars and remember that a comfortable feel is crucialWww@Enter-QA@Com
