Question: Fair singer!? (voice clip included)!?
Hi!
I was wondering if anyone would be willing to spare their time to tell me what I could do to improve my singing voice!.
The clip which I have here is prior to any voice lessons!.
I think I have a few of the flaws spotted out in my head already, but I want to confirm and note any other ones!.
I have started voice lessons, but have only been in them for 2 lessons now, so I have not had any improvement, just time to get to know my teacher!.

Well, I'd like to start off by saying that you have a great foundation for a potential singing career!. I thought that you were very good!.
I only spotted a few flaws!. The biggest one was that, to me, it didn't sound as if you were regulating your breathing properly!. My advice, if you don't already know this, is to breathe with your diaphragm!. Most people, when they breathe deeply, lift their shoulders!. That puts stress on your voice, making it harder to sing!. When you inhale, keep your shoulders relaxed, and extend your stomach to take in the air!. You'll understand what I mean once you try it!.
My other piece of advice might not matter, because I don't know much about pop music!. But, you chop your words by the syllable!. I would tell you to make one word flow into the next, without slurring!. but, like i said, i don't know much about pop, and if it is supposed ti be like that!.

i know that this is a pop style song, but if you want to make a career out of singing, i suggest you open your horizons to different styles of singing as well!. i only say this because you sounded like you were singing a little too bright (meaning almost with a nasally tone)!. try darkening the tone by singing more!.!.!.like an opera singer (or as my vocal instructor says "sing like your a woman" !.!.!.not a girl)!.
other than that!.!.!.it was very good!. seems like you have fairly good breath support (remember to breath out, not up (no shoulder motion))

WOW! that's actually a lot better than i expected!.!.!.i mean of course your not a superstar (yet) but its good your taking voice lessons!.!.!.just make sure you pick the right genre of music!.!.!.just because you like/love a certain genre/song doesn't mean it's the right one for you!.!.!.i can see you doing colbie callait or some other pop stuff!.!.!.maybe leona lewis just maybeWww@Enter-QA@Com
Granted, it is not the kind of music I like to listen to, so your voice itself is different than what I would listen to, that aside, you have great intonation, tone quality was consistent but maybe a little forced, other wise it sounded great, even though I don't listen to that kind of music!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i think you have alot of potential, but you are a teeny bit pitchy, the lessons will help train your voice up though, and i think you could come out with a fantastic voice after a little more training, but keep it up! :)Www@Enter-QA@Com
For an untrained voice, that's pretty darned good!.
Your voice teacher will probably work with you on your breathing a bit, that will help you!. That seems to be your main issue!. It's a relatively easy one to fix with practice!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

you're really good!. The only thing I can say is work on your breathing, breathe deep down to your stomach and use that to support your notes, but other than that it was really good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
your very good but in some spots you sound a little whiney its good but your voice sounds like it hasn't matured yet its sounds a little young !.
