Metallica recorded "Master of Puppets" in 1985!. It was the last album to be recorded with bassist Cliff Burton who died soon later in a tour-bus crash!. Lead Vocalist/Rhythm Guitarist James Hetfield said that it "deals pretty much with drugs!. How things get switched around, instead of you controlling what you're taking and doing, it's drugs controlling you!."

I don't like them, usually - but MOP and One are exceptions to this!.
