What do numbers mean underneath music notes?!
Question: What do numbers mean underneath music notes!?
I'm seeing for instance, a line of quarter notes with the numbers 1, 3 and 5 underneath in that order!. Some in the rest of the song are different!. Does anybody know what the numbers mean!?

well if you are looking at sheet music, many times it will just have the numbers underneath to help you play it on the piano!. for instance, if it's a 1, then you play the note with your thumb, vs a 3, your middle finger, or 5, your pinky!.
That's my understanding of it, but correct me if I'm wrong, and you find out otherwise!. =]Www@Enter-QA@Com
