its not a matter of how good you are!. most of the time you have to be asked to join a band but i will point out that if you want to be accepted into a band, you have to be pretty damn good!. trust me i play guitar and i've been trying to get in a band for years!. im a girl though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
You don't necessarily have to be very good or talented to join a band!. Just look at the Jonas Sisters for example!.
But you should have some sort of talent if you expect to go anywhere!. Unless of course you can get that highly coveted Disney sponsorship!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

you don't have to be amazing!. Just able to keep a rhythm and play some chords!. Of course, if this is all you can do, you'll definitely be playing rhythm guitar rather than lead, but you'll still be in a band!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I played bass for a band before I had even picked up a bass before, as did Kim Deal of the Pixies!.!.!. Really, you just need to be able to keep in time and play the right chords!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
