It is fun to get together with my grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and my cousins. Another this is I love the food. Every year I have second and third helpings of turkey, but afterwards, I always feel as if I am about to puke, because I am full. One of my family's traditions is everybody has a big bake-a-thon on the Friday after Thanksgiving. My family makes like 5000 cookies and bars. The worst thing is that after Thanksgiving and my family's bake-a-thon, I gain a lot of weight from all that eating.
I like the food and being able to relax for a little while
Food. Love it love cookin the turkey. My family split up when I was a kid so... nothin but the food. But still nice.
I just think that it's a day for people to stuff themselves and they use thanksgiving as an excuse.
Well my mother in law from hell, always thinks that I can't cook. She is always trying to show me "tips." OMG I can't stand her at all.

I think it's overrated. I say, skip right over it and get to Christmas. Every year, right after Halloween, I just want to get right into the Christmas spirit.
