I've been to Cassadaga, it's a spiritualist, small, rural town in Florida said to be a portal to the "spirit" world.
I've heard of many scary places, one that I recall is called Magnolia Plantation located somewhere in New Orleans. An unknown murderer killed off the family.

I used to live near a grave yard an abandon grave yard, there was also a witch that use to live down there im glad we moved
well my dad was preacher and one night we had to spend the night at this church in Texas and it just so happened that the church use to be an old mortuary..boy was I ever scared that night
The local paper printshop. My Fiance's friend went there on Halloween and they recorded ghost voices. Thankfully they were friendly and mostly just curious.
It was a bridge crossing a river. The bridge deck was made of that type of criss-cross metal that you can see right through. It was about 400-500 feet to the bottom. Very, VERY scary
