Does playing the violin really make your IQ go up?!

supposedly any ,musical instrument such as violin, piano, flute...like those will raise IQ if they are mastered at a young age....

Your IQ is a set number from birth to death.
You may make it go up or down a bit, depending on how much brain damage you get (I.E. car wreck)

Of course it does. Most violinists I know are rather intelligent.
Generally speaking, being involved in music (being able to read music in both bass and treble clefs) does higher your I.Q. I play the violin, so maybe.

Haha, but I have to say, the violin players in my orchestra aren't that bright and don't seem to shut up when they should, so no. I don't think the violin does much of anything to make you smarter.
Duh! Anytime you learn something your IQ goes up. The more you know the smarter you are.
