How are you honoring the king?!
Question: I sat down with my daughter(my kids are biracial-blaque and white), and watched two half-hour specials with her on the History Channel. During the commercials, I discussed with her the importance and significance of men and women like Dr. MLK, jr.-on her 5.5 year old level.
I always cry when I hear his last speech and today was no different.
It is because of soldiers/warriors like him that my relationship and my kids aren't nearly so taboo as it was back then.

All the time. I listen to the King every day. Elvis was the best!
Oh wrong king. You meant Martin Luther King Jr. right? Well in that case, yeah in a small way. I said a prayer of thanks to God for the work that King did for civil rights. And I am listening to a talk radio show that is dedicating itself today to discussing his teachings.
Working. I guess that's honoring. No one else has to work.
I like to play his records and put on my fake side burns...oh wait...your talking about the other king, I dont honor him. But thanks for the day off!
I'm alternating my musical selections here at work between Elvis and Gospel music.
