How would a person be able to tell if they were 'chatting'...?!
Question: I asked a semi legit question about my melting igloo yesterday and it was deleted for chatting ! I must not fully understand the guidelines ;)
PS: for the love of god, don't post the guidelines please.

yahoo is really good at BSing...i don't think they really know themselves...i mean, almost every q&a can be considered "chatting" to a certain extent. awhile ago i appealed a violation that was reported for chatting and the yahoo admin made up some BS which didn't make any sense so i asked him to clarify what he meant...he decided to not respond again. i don't think "chatting" should even be in the community guidelines...it all too subjective.
I have no idea...it's stupid
any questions that have the words I, or me seem to be chatting. Its ridiculous.
I don't know what the 'yahooeys' consider chatting either. I always thought that chatting was a back and forth conversation irrelevant to the subject matter... I don't see how an initial question can be considered chatting when an actual conversation hasn't technically even begun yet.
I seriously don't think that any of the 'reports' are even evaluated. I think that: Troll + report = automatic violation.
I don't know. I asked if there were anyone younger than 12 on the P & S site, and they removed the queation for chatting
