What's the meanest thing you've ever said to a telemarketer?!
Question: A friend of mine used to tell newspaper telemarketers that she couldn't read. After a stunned silence, she would say - "you know, some people can't read. What am I going to do with a newspaper?" They'd mumble something then just hang up.
In actuality, she had a master's degree and worked as some sort of an analyst.

Copied their accent lol
I'm not mean to them, rather, I quickly
take over the Question-asking, until
they Beg to be let off.
Honestly, it's the most fun.
I don't even answer.... thank goodness for caller ID.
If I do not know you I don't pick it up!
Nope, never had. Being a telemarketer is still a job and everyone needs to put food on the table.
I am not home
Ive farted into the phone and hung up
The meanest thing is saying nothing and setting the phone down so they talk to air.
do you have a real job?
I keep asking them to repeat their question and I tell them that I'm confused and I don't understand what they are talking about...I finally apologize to them and ask them to please put someone else on the line, someone that I will be able to understand.
