I'm definitely a meat lover!. Beef is the greatest thing ever!. I love berbeque mmm!.
I really don't know why people are vegeterians!. I understand the whole animal right thing!. But at the same time God created us this way!.!.!.!.we eat Veggies and Meat!.

I can't speak for everyone, but I think some of it has to do with variety!. I grew up dirt poor, ok!? On average, when I was a teenager we had meat maybe one meal a *week* tops!.
The rest was beans, potatoes and some sort of "greens"!. I'm not saying the diet wasn't healthy, ok!?
But it bored me to *tears*!. o_o Having the same thing over and over again, day in and out, really was one of the things that lead me to overeat when I was younger (eating faster to get it done, and as a result eating more)!.
So yeah!. Nutrition and ethics aside, a boring diet isn't healthy for the *mind*, I'd say!. It's possible to *do* a simple lacto-vegetarian diet on next to no money!.!.!.!.but it's going to drive you nuts in terms of lack of choices!.
But hey, what do I know!? A good chunk of the planet thinks I'm a scum-bag anyway for "killing the poor critters"!. Never mind that they were *tamed and bred* by us for this purpose, or that they would have died anyway whether *I* ate any meat or not!.!.!.!.

Vegetarian!. And I don't believe in creationism, so your point just fell flat on its face!. I don't have anything against meat eaters (I'm the only vegetarian in my family), but as soon as you try and make a point using your own personal beliefs, that just irritates me!.
Lions need to eat other animals to survive because they lose their tolerance for lactose after infancy!. Humans do not (except for a minority that are lactose intolerant)!. I happen to be lactose tolerant and I enjoy milk, a lot, so that's why I can get enough protein and amino acids and still be a vegetarian!.
also I am lucky to live a relatively prosperous life!. We can afford to get special soy burgers, eggs, nuts, and dairy products for me to eat!. If we couldn't afford it, I would probably be either a very unhealthy vegetarian, or an omnivore!.

I just changed my mind one day when I realized I did not NEED to eat animals to live!. If there is someone out there with a condition that requires that they consume flesh, then that's their need, and they can eat all the meat they want!. If you really love meat, then go for it, I don't really care!. I'm not here to force my beliefs on you!. You don't even have to read this thing!. I would appreciate if you didn't bring YOUR religion into the argument!.

I am a vegetarian and am very proud to be one, I couldn't agree with "somewhere I belong" Her answer was amazing and she is so right!. Not only am I a vegetarian because of animal rights but also because I think that it is just gross to eat another living creature that had a face and had children and is like eating your own flesh!. I know a lot of people say that god put them on this earth for us to eat, but when you start abusing animals for that reason, it is just unacceptable!. God put animals on this earth to help us live, not to abuse like we are doing today!. Here is a video that might help you to understand!. Vegetarian!. And I can hardly understand how you would correlate God and eating meat!. God doesn't care what you eat, as long as you're a good person!. That's just stupid!. And it's a personal choice--I chose to do it because I wanted to be healthier, and I guess what!? My skin looks amazing, my hair looks amazing, and I'm losing weight!. It's fantastic!.

I've been a pescatarian for four months now!. I still drink chicken soup though, only if I'm sick, etc!. So I guess that makes me a semitarian//pescatarian!.
