all though he was convicted of murder

so why don't they play his music or say his name or show his videos

Money talks not the people!. That being said stations are not about to risk advertising dollars to play a conterversial song or discuss a no no subject!. For some unknown reason (maybe to keep jobs and employ people) they would rather stay in business and on the air!.
