When do the new episodes of Battlestar Galactica start and is it really the last season??
I can't believe this is the last season I was really getting into the show. I guess I am going to have to go into my pocket and buy the dvds for the previous seasons.
Answers:
The short answer: 21 January 2008.
But between now and then, Galactica will have a movie and mini-sodes.
In November, SciFi will air a two-hour movie surrounding the Battlestar Pegasus (named "Razor"). It is expected to show the very first ever Cylon. Additionally, it will detail Lee Adama's (Apollo) first mission as well as some of William Adama's (Husker - Admiral Adama) early years. Supposedly we will also see some of the "classic" Cylons in the movie. Soonafter it is broadcast it will be released on DVD.
Before that, though, a series of 2-3 minute "mini-sodes" will be broadcast. Similar to the "web-isodes" from last year, they will broadcast first and then become available online. They will lead up to the movie.
Finally, the fourth and final season of Galactica will pick up on 21 January of next year. In it, the general expectation is that the fleet will make it to Earth. This 22-episode season has been confirmed as the final season.
