Law&Order Fan!?

Did you guys hear some of the new line up for the show. Sam Waterston (Jack McCoy) is taking Fred Thomas Dalton's place as DA on the show. What do you think about that? I think I'd rather see Jack in the courtroom then behind a desk.

Jack is probably better in the courtroom, but it makes sense. L&O has always been consistent with moving people on (which is how things actually work in the real world) to other jobs, etc. So, with Jack being senior ADA, it would make sense that he be promoted to DA until the next election (DA is elected). Whether he's up to the task should make for some interesting episodes. Being a good lawyer in the courtroom does not mean you're a good administrator in a law office. Trust me - I've worked with and for lawyers since 1983.
