Does anyone actually think that Boy Shakira or that Bollywood dancing guy is talented enough to win the million dollars? Personally I was really mad when they were put through, and the redneck tenors, and so many other good acts were cut!

Controversy makes the ratings go up. If everyone on the show were awesome, people would be bored and wouldn't watch it. They have to pick a few sucky people so that people will be mad about the fact they're still in the running, and their curiosity will make them tune in again. I don't think they will win a million dollars but the fact that they're bad makes people want to see more. It's like watching a train wreck, you don't want to look but you can't resist.
