How would one pitch to Oprah in order to get on her show?
Say you had a really good cause that needed to be recognized by everyone in our nation. What would be the perfect way to get the word out....on Oprah's show, of course! Well, how would one go about making the perfect pitch to Oprah so that she could not refuse? Any ideas?

Wait on the corner of Morgan St and W. Washington until her limo arrives ...LOL :o)
Just kidding. She has (like most talk shows and tv shows in general) Producers that help find and develop "Oprah" worthy stories ...they also help research stories and oversee the creation all the video segments that typically accompany the story.
Pitching any idea directly to her would be nearly impossible...save for a purely chance meeting (like waiting on her corner) or if you (or your family/ friends) know someone very close to her.
You can call Harpo Productions and ask to speak w/ a show producer...and I'm sure they'll explain their specific process for submitting ideas.
