Nothing was mentioned about jax dieing. His boat was suppose to have capsized in today's episode. If i know jax he will turn up somewhere on the island. He could have washed ashore or he could be hurt from the boat over turning in the water. He could be hurt somewhere washed on shore from the currents. So - i would not count jax out yet. He has a tendency to pop up somewhere.

Jax is definitely not dead, I actually think he will be back either the 14th or 15th, and I think the part where Carly thinks she is pregnant is yet to come anyway.
I suppose actors need a couple "vacation" days too. Did anyone notice how Jason wasn't on screen for a week or so and suddenly he came back and I was like "Wow, his hair looks longer..."
