Ebay--i know it doesn't belong here but i don't know where i should put !

Question: has anybody used it and is it safe to use the paypal method of payment. i'm trying to get the discovery channel - planet earth set ( which is sold out everywhere) but i'm worried about paying someone and not getting the product. anybody know how it works? thanks again.

but i will add this --i love micheal and lauren together. (y&r) when they were playin craps they just really seem like they love each other. great actors

I use it all the time and have for years now for both buyinhg and selling,
First set you mind to a fair price you want to pay.
Alayes look at the sellers feedback score and the feedback left....Trust more the people with the most feedback...if like say they have a low feedback number and half are negitives look elsewhere.
Do not bid until twards the end of the auction...Like a live auction the reall bidding happens in a short time....DO NOT OVER BID THE PRICE YOU SET IN YOUR MIND AND DO NOT OVER PAY!. also look and make sure they take PayPal, and check the shipping price they charge...some sellers over charge for the shipping because they do not have to pay Ebay thier part on that charge.
Good luck...happy bidding and feel free to ask me more!
Happy Holidays!

Hi I use pay pal all the time, and I have never had a problem with them.It is the safest way to pay someone on ebay.

eBay and paypal are 99% safe. I have used both frequently and have never had a problem.

Check the seller's rating as far as positive and negative responses (it's listed on the page the item for sale is on). If he has ever cheated anyone you can find it there. To that regard, eBay is self-policing...if someone rips the buyer off it gets reported for everyone to see.

No clue how it works, but my daughter uses it all the time. She bought an I-Pod with Paypal and it was some trash thing. Paypal got her money back, and she bought a real one.

I think you probably follow their directions, and they have some protection built into purchases made.

That's all I've got for you!

Yes paypal is safe I have had my acct for 3 years without a problem and if you have a problem getting your stuff paypal will guarantee your money back and the seller will be in trouble big time.

it very safe & security very good as can get reported and kicked of using ebay all sellers are very very good and if you buy of them and receive and not happy just email and they wil lre aprove as they don't want to be blocked

try it as a very good way of getting things you need and very trustworthy

check out the profie and seller feed back once you look at item you want before you commit

I have purchased things 4 times with ebay and never had a problem. Just if you do keep or print all emails they send you regarding shipment and payment, paypal is the safest way to go.

I use Ebay all the time and I only bid if they except paypal. I have been using them for at least 5 years or more. I have had problems with a couple sellers the main one being egamers or somthing like that they do not sell good products. When I have a problem and can not solve it with the seller I let paypal know (through email) and they work on it for me. Thanks to Paypal I got my money back for two items without any hassle.
The way paypal works you set up an account and enter your account information and shipping info. Everytime you want to pay for something click paypal and enter your login and they send payment for you from your account. You can bid without worry if you pay using paypal. I hope this helps you.

yes it is safe

It's pretty safe. Just remember if you get any emails from anyone who says that they are "Paypal" and wants you to "verify your information" -- DON'T DO IT. There are a lot of scammers who get your email address and then try to "phish" you. If you want to make changes to your Paypal account always sign in directly.

Paypal's the only way to go. Not a problem.....so far.
